Pedro Acosta’s Triumph: Rising to 3rd Place at Le Mans MotoGP

6 months ago By Sports Desk

Pedro Acosta shone at the MotoGP Grand Prix at Le Mans, taking an impressive third place during Friday’s practice session. After experiencing problems in Jerez, the young Tech3 rider showed his consistency and ability to position himself as the best non-Ducati on the first day of the event.

Acosta’s journey began at Le Mans, where he finished second in the first practice session, behind only Jorge Martin. This brilliant performance was the start of things to come as he progressed to the second round and finished third behind only champion Martin and champion Francisco Bagnaia.

After the day of practice, Acosta expressed his satisfaction with the progress made and said that Le Mans is his favorite track to drive, although he has never had great success there. He noted that they have made significant progress compared to Jerez, particularly in terms of the bike’s electronic set-up, and he believes that will continue throughout the weekend.

In addition to Acosta, other KTM riders also performed well, with Jack Miller finishing sixth. However, his Tech3 teammate Augusto Fernandez fought back and finished 16th. Fernandez said they made changes to the bike and shortened it, which affected its performance in the braking components. However, he was optimistic about the work done and determined to adapt to change.

Acosta’s ride at Le Mans not only bounces back from problems in previous races, but also proves he can adapt and pivot quickly. As a newcomer to the category, his promising performance is testament to his ability to excel in the world of MotoGP.

Le Mans offers another exciting MotoGP event, with fans looking forward to thrilling races throughout the weekend. With Acosta leading the KTM field and showing his edge among the best, the race promises to be intense and unpredictable until the last lap of the flag.
