Lewis Hamilton has shared his optimistic view of Mercedes’ Formula 1 car, the W15, and sees it as a solid foundation for future progress throughout the season. His comments came after an extensive test in Bahrain, where he set the third fastest time of the day.

The Seven-time world champion British F1 driver Hamilton praised the mercedes car’s performance and handling, which was a significant improvement over last year’s model. It completed 123 laps on the second day of pre-season testing, a significant improvement over its predecessor.

A huge thank you to everyone at Brackley and Brixworth for their efforts over the past year to make this happen. I am very grateful for their hard work.”

Despite the positive feedback, Hamilton admitted that further improvements are needed before the start of the season. He finished third in the day’s standings, just 0.4 seconds behind Sergio Perez. Although the difference is small, it leaves the car’s position on the grid open.

“Obviously there’s still room for improvement. But it’s a good foundation to build on. We’ll continue to focus on improving for the rest of the test and next week. I’m looking forward to getting back in the race. car. Tomorrow morning.” And let’s continue the education.”

With the start of the Formula 1 season, Hamilton’s positive words about the performance of the W15 will raise the expectations of Mercedes fans. The continuous pursuit of improvement demonstrates the competitive mindset as the team prepares for the challenges of the 2024 season.
